If you’re like me, the odds that you love Valentine’s Day are pretty high.
Tinkering with all sorts of chocolate dessert recipes is super fun to do, especially on a day dedicated to chocolate and our sweeties.
In 2022 I launched the Cookie Chips® Baking Mix. These crispy crunchy, deliciously thin cookies can be magically turned into so many amazing dessert sensations. If you want to astound your sweetie this Valentine’s Day, pick up any of my Cookie Chips® Baking Mix flavors and create something amazing. Even by themselves, these bakery quality cookie mixes makes for an awesome gift idea. Send that special person in your life my baker's bundle and watch them fall in love with baking again. Here are a few awesome gift ideas.
If you like to bake and want to surprise that special someone in your life with a treat that you made, try making some Cookie Chips® crunchy cookie bark. Decorate it with chocolate, candies, nuts, seeds, and any topping that you can think off. The dough spreads thinly and easily on a parchment-lined sheet pan. Spread quality dark chocolate on top of the finished cookie bark and sprinkle your toppings. Dried cranberries or cherries are delicious over dark chocolate.
Peppermint Chocolate Chip Cookie Chips® Bark. Easy to make and so much fun to crunch on.
For a more indulgent offering, spread your dark chocolate over the cookie bark, and top with pieces of pretzels, caramel or kettle popcorn, M&M’s or chopped peanut butter cups. Whatever indulgent yummy things that you can think of will work. Add some fun Valentine’s themed sprinkles from Sweetapolia. Lastly, drizzle milk chocolate and white chocolate over the top for the ultimate Cookie Chips® bark. Refrigerate it for a few minutes to set it up. Then break up the pieces into beautiful shards of bark.
These easy cookie recipes are not just perfect for Valentine's Day, they're so much fun to make.
Cookie Bark should be broken into shards and elegantly plated.
A DIY homemade gift that's cute and meaningful
When we make holiday bark in our kitchen, we package it in beautiful gift boxes with tissue paper. You can also place it in a cello bag tied with ribbon. Whatever you choose to do with our Cookie Chips® Baking Mix, we hope you make your sweetie very happy this Valentine’s Day.
For another easy gift idea, make a beautiful gift box and pack our Baker's Bundle together with a fun red baking spatula and a beautiful red or Valentine inspired apron. Don’t forget to include some colorful tissue paper inside the box. Wrap the box in a thick ribbon and you're good to go. I found cute gift boxes, linen ribbons and bows, and more at Paper Mart.
Happy Baking. Happy Loving. Happy Valentine’s Day.
I used our Cinnamon Sugar Cookie Chips® with sprinkles from Sweetapolita.
The filling used is the Callebaut Belgian Ruby Chocolate.
Create a cute Valentines day gift with treats that means the world to someone.
