Every bite of this easy sweet and salty chex mix recipe is crunchy crunchy crunchy. This is a serious win for parties, holiday snack mixes, lunch box ideas for the kids, and yummy afternoon sweet treats

All coated with butter or vegan butter and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar, you’ll want to grab handfuls of this sweet and salty snack mix and just munch. It’s insanely addictive.
We put our twist on this chex mix original recipe with the inclusion of our easy recipe sugar cookies. Exploding with cinnamon flavor, These toasty sugar cookies add a much needed kick to this and other creative chex mix recipes.

While you could buy a bag of Chex Mix and pass on making your own, I wouldn’t recommend this. You would be missing out on the fun baking experience of creating your own delicious masterpiece. It's better to bake this party mix fresh in your own oven. You don’t even have to follow my directions "to a t." The beauty of this party mix is that you can add in or substitute any of the sweet and salty ingredients. Don’t like peanuts? Leave them out or substitute with almonds or cashews. Want a little chocolate added? Throw in some M&M’s when it’s all cool. And, there are tons of Chex Cereal to choose from. Use your favorite flavor or blend a few types together.

The Sweet and Salty Chex Mix set up for a late afternoon summer party.

A fun way to serve this party mix is to purchase natural wood cones from Amazon along with a cone holder. I guarantee this will be a hit treat at your next friendly gathering.

This recipe makes a lot of party mix. If you aren’t going to use it all, don’t be afraid of bagging it up and throwing it in the freezer. This is what I did with the mix I made for this blog post. It’s making a great snack for my little guy’s lunch box and as an afternoon sweet snack for my family.
